ASCCA has previously reported on the new lead-acid battery fee collection requirement effective April 1, 2017. You can read the full notice of the fee requirement at https://www.boe.ca.gov/pdf/l489.pdf. The Board of Equalization has recently made available the lead-acid battery fees registration and a Tax and Fee Guide on its website at http://www.boe.ca.gov/industry/lead-acid_battery_fees.html
