She saw the need for improvement and growth in our ever-changing industry! Having a strong foundation in the hospitality industry, customer service is Colleen’s strong point. Weaning the customers away from always talking to “the mechanic” and following a structured shop flow process, Colleen was able to teach the staff accountability and how to make better decisions. Spotlight date: June, 2021 Member of the month: Tim Chakarian Spotlight date: June, 2021 Timothy Chakarian worked at the dealership as a master technician for 10 years, before he decided he could give the customers a more detailed, personalized experience than the dealer can. He hated seeing customers not being cared for properly by the dealership because the sales numbers didn’t work for the dealer. He felt if you take care of the customer and their vehicle, they will take care of you. So he opened up his shop with his wife, Johanna in 2009. Since 2009, his business has flourished and expanded and now he has 7 employees who work for him, helping him to fulfill his goal of taking the best care of his customers. Spotlight date: May, 2021 Member of the month: Davie Bauld Spotlight date: May, 2021 The ASCCA Membership Committee proudly announces Davie Bauld of H Mobile Services as its ASCCA member of the month for May 2021. ASCCA regularly honors members who go above and beyond in demonstrating ASCCA’s core values of integrity, compassion, professionalism, and unity. Along with these core values, Davie also embodies ASCCA’s core purpose: To elevate and unite automotive professionals and give them voice. Davie began his career after graduating high school in 1976. He worked at a few Honda dealerships until he went out on his own in 1983. Although his one-man mobile service was an unusual business model, he found his niche and made it work. Over the next 30 years, Davie raised a family with 4 children. In 2014, Davie joined Chapter 14, his local chapter, of ASCCA. Spotlight date: August, 2020 Member of the month: Stephanie Pitari Spotlight date: August, 2020 The ASCCA Membership Committee proudly announces Stephanie Pitari of All Wheel Auto, Truck & RV Repair as its ASCCA member of the month for August 2020. ASCCA regularly honors members who go above and beyond in demonstrating ASCCA’s core values of integrity, compassion, professionalism, and unity. Along with these core values, Stephanie also embodies ASCCA’s core purpose: To elevate and unite automotive professionals and give them voice. Stephanie got a taste of the business as a young girl, watching her dad, Rob Pitari, write service and run the crew while she helped retrieve tire codes and part numbers for him. She also helped her aunt with the books, watched repairs, assisted the crew by bringing them tools and even chatted with the customers.
